Adaptik Icons is an icon pack. Your launcher applies it — the app does not change home-screen icons by itself.

Install Adaptik Icons from Google Play.
Use a launcher that supports icon packs (for example Nova Launcher or Lawnchair).
Open that launcher's settings, find Icon pack (or Icon theme), and select Adaptik Icons.
In the Adaptik Icons app, the Apply tab has the same steps and shortcuts to open or install popular launchers.

Stock launchers Pixel, OnePlus, Samsung, and similar often do not support third-party icon packs. Use Nova or Lawnchair instead.
